Solstice is taking your wedding music out of the box. Take a hands-on DJ, a percussionist and a horn player and mash them all together. Down-tempo drum and bass, mellow dub and electronic textures intermingle with vintage soul and jazz. The result is a modern blend that perfectly underscores conversation without ever feeling stuffy, boring or outdated. But wait, this is a wedding! Have no fear; when people get the itch, the musicians fall back and the DJ steps up to transition the party into full dance mode! The group is available in several configurations including turntable/laptop DJ with solo trumpet, atmospheric guitarist, saxophonist or percussionist, or any combination thereof.
