Murray Hill Talent helped source the talent for AARPs “Life@50” convention held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC). This giant convention featured lots of different groups and there were thousands of guests intern for the convention. Some of the entertainment we featured was Poor Richard’s Penny. This early American ensemble performed music from the time of our nations inception. They were dressed in authentic period costumes, playing stately instrumentals, comical tavern songs, lively dance tunes and colonial ballads.
We also had one of our top Acapella groups “Overboard” in the line up. This band uses electronic vocal effects to mimic instruments and drums (you would swear they had a backup band ! ) The group opened the show with a stunning version of “God Bless America”
To top off the convention, Murray Hill Talent supplied backing musicians for legendary Mary Wilson (lead singer from the Supremes) Mary puts on such an amazing and energetic show. Our musicians were very excited at this once in a lifetime opportunity to perform with her.
