Newport RI Wedding DJs

We had the pleasure of working with Brendan Howard from Murray Hill Talent. We met with him about a month out from the wedding and instantly got good vibes from him. He made sure that we were tracking the right version of a certain song for my ceremony which made me feel so good because it was really important to me that it was the right version. We made the decision the day of the wedding to have the ceremony outside and he was flexible and ready! When it came time to dance, I don’t think we left the dance floor all night. It was just great song after great song and the guests loved it. Thanks Brendan, you were fantastic!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything you contributed to our wedding at Rosecliff on Friday. First off, Julio the DJ was a huge fan favorite. He absolutely killed it and was easily the highlight of the whole event. Everyone was so impressed, he really got everyone going and took the time to understand our music preferences. I can’t imagine our wedding without him.

The music was a really important focal point for us at our wedding, and we had a specific vibe and genre we wanted to focus on. Our DJ, Niko absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dance floor was packed the whole time, with older relatives, little kids and everyone in between. We will never forget how much fun we had on the dance floor at our wedding. It could not have been any better. We are SO glad we went with Murray Hill for our DJ!

Put your hands up for DJ Ben Ockert! He DJ’d the reception like an old pro. He took the time to schedule a call before the event and get a feel for our music tastes. He put together a kick ass set and kept the dancefloor full throughout. Awesome job accommodating some obscure requests on the fly. This guy is not just playing a list of songs you give him, he really performed and mixed an awesome set. Next time we host an event, Ben will be there. Thank you for a great night! We will never forget it!

Everything went perfectly. It was great to have our preview call with Armand so on the day of the wedding when we are so busy, the music was streamlined and we didn’t need to think about. It. Armand is clearly a professional and we were very pleased.

I am so happy that we used Murray Hill Talent for our wedding day. The team was wonderful to work with in the lead-up to our wedding and they were so responsive whenever we had questions. With them, we booked services for reception DJ (Scott A.), ceremony/cocktail hour music (Tom P.), up-lighting, and photo booth. All of my guests raved about how much fun the photo booth was and how great the music selections were. Our friends have already booked Murray Hill for their 2024 wedding because they had so much fun at our wedding. The entire team was incredibly professional and helped our wedding day run smoothly.

Alyssa and I just got back from our “honeymoon” (the real one was deferred until covid clears up more), where we had lots of time to think about how wonderful our wedding weekend was. I wish that I’d been in a better state of mind to express my sincere appreciation for your DJing on our special weekend, but I got a bit carried away in the fun of the party. It was so fun that you were a good sport all evening, made it an incredibly fun dance party, and enabled my best man’s shenanigans. You and Tom made a great team on October 9th!

Zeke was our wedding DJ and he was wonderful! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night! He made sure to reach out to us a few days before the wedding to ensure he had all the pronunciations correct and make sure he was able to uphold all of our requests. Zeke delivered far beyond our expectations. The DJ is such a big part of the wedding reception and we could not have been happier to have chosen Zeke to play such a big role in our day. We would definitely recommend him for any of your events!

I can’t say enough about how great Brendan was! He was extremely easy to work with, very responsive and was able to get himself set up at the venue (which he’d never been to before) without any issues. He absolutely nailed the playlist for the night, I remember someone telling me they wanted to run to the bathroom for a half hour but they just couldnt get off the dance floor! We’ll be filling out more formal reviews for both Brendan but Murray Hill as a whole very soon but did want you to know that we couldn’t be happier with how everything went with both Murray Hill and Brendan.

I LOVE MURRAY HILL! Cory is one the most efficient emailers’ (I know not a word) alive. He answers every questions and provides the most amazing service. He is beyond flexible and just has the best talent from DJs to live music. I worked with DJ Brian Delac and Infinity Strings. Everyone from my wedding raved about instrumentals from my ceremony and how now one left the dance floor the entire night. They went with the flow and made my night the BEST party!! Thank you! Nathan was amazing. He knew how to read the crowd. From the beginning of our first call he understood what I was looking for. I wanted a DJ that would entertain the crowd but not screaming or do line dances. We would definitely recommend Nathan to all our friends and also if he needs any recommendations we would be more than happy to give them.

Scott Arrington was the DJ at our wedding in September and we had an awesome time working with him! We booked pretty far in advance, but Scott was still very responsive in getting back to us and setting up a call to talk through available services. Prior to the wedding, Scott worked closely with us and our coordinator to make sure everything was squared away. Aside from DJ services, he also provided sound equipment for our JOP and a mic for our cousin who performed our first dance song. Scott’s music selection throughout the night was definitely on point and exactly what we had in mind, the dance floor was packed and everyone had an amazing time. We would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Just wanted to reach out to say that Ben did a phenomenal job as our DJ! He was so energetic and on point with everything. He went above and beyond to edit my father daughter dance perfectly, completely understood our music style preferences and played everything we hoped to hear and more. We had an amazing wedding!

We had our wedding on August 23rd in Newport and had Mikey D as our DJ. I cannot recommend him enough!! He did an amazing job. First of all he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and met with us multiple times before the wedding. He played a great variety of music, keeping everyone happy. Everyone at the wedding said they loved him. He always knew when to cut off a song and start a new one, and kept the crowd happy. Everyone had a blast and did not leave the dance floor. You will not regret booking him!

We were fortunate to have booked DJ Zeke Stern for our daughters wedding at the Newport Beach House. His transition of music during the ceremony was seamless and the dance floor was literally full all night. He was respectful, unobtrusive and professional…exactly what our daughter and her husband wanted. We would highly recommend Zeke and Murray Hill Talent for any of their services.

Scott Arrington was our DJ and he did an amazing job! He kept the young and old dancing all night. He even incorporated some traditional Portuguese music for us. All in all a great guy and he made our wedding awesome.

Brian was wonderful – he was exactly what we were looking for from our wedding DJ. He listened and paid attention to all of our music preferences and ensured that our guests had a phenomenal time at our wedding. We could not be happier with Brian! Dakeya is a great choice. As emcee he kept us steadily moving through each part of the ceremony with no hiccups. As DJ he perfectly blended our requests, avoided our “do not plays” and maintained the energy in the room perfectly throughout the entire night. A pleasure to work with.

We had Brian Delac DJ our wedding. He was excellent to work with, he was responsive via email or text, asked us all the right questions ahead of time, was there well ahead of the wedding reception to set up, and was absolutely great throughout the night playing the music we asked for mixed in with what he thought would work well and people literally never left the dance floor. Highly recommend using Murray Hill Talent and Brian Delac specifically!

Scott Arrington was the DJ for our Newport wedding. He was great! We received a lot of compliments on the music. We requested a lot of songs from when we were in college since the majority of our guests were friends. He was able to meet with us before the event and go over ourideas and do not play list. He did a great job of warming up the night with oldies and working his way towards more popular stuff. He even helped edit our first dance song prior to the event. I would recommend him!

Scott did an amazing job with our wedding.  He was reachable leading up to the wedding when we needed to finalize plans and details, and he was great at the wedding itself.  We had countless guests say to us how good he was and some even asked us for his information.  We couldn’t be happier with Scott, he was excellent to work with and again, did an amazing job!

I can’t say enough about Nate. We filled out the reception planner and he carefully reviewed with us all of our requests for songs. He also took the time to get to know our style and understand what we were looking for. The way that he orchestrated the night with the ebb and flow between a handful of slow songs and dance songs was flawless. The dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone had nothing but great things to say about the memories we made that night!

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed Ken’s performance at my husband’s birthday party at the Weekapaug Inn on May 7. He was a pleasure to deal with in every way, and really contributed to the success of the party. He played beautifully and was right on target with his song choices. He seemed to know exactly the right mix, and respected our wish to keep the sound level low enough that people could enjoy his music, but still hear themselves talk at the party. Many party guests commented on how good he was.
