We represent Cape Cod Wedding Bands and musicians for Cape Cod Wedding Ceremonies and cocktail hours. When reflecting upon Cape Cod, local author and famous transcendentalist, Henry David Thoreau wrote, “A man can stand there and put all America behind him.” As an out-of-towner, one might not even be aware that the Cape is part of Massachusetts. When traveling there, one immediately feels disconnected from the trials and tribulations of the city, magically transported to a haven a little south of ordinary.
With over 40 miles of pristine sandy beaches, marshes, ponds, and uplands, Cape Cod is home to 100’s of insect and wildlife species and is a beautiful backdrop to see these species in their natural habitat.
Aside from environmental attractions, such as hiking trails, biking trails, and cranberry bogs, the Cape is home to some of the most prestigious private event venues in the Northeast. Year after year, people come together to plan their graduation parties, family reunions, and weddings in the upscale coastal communities of Cape Cod. Whether it be Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, Wychmere Harbor Beach and Tennis Club in Harwichport, or Chatham Bars Inn or Wequassett Resort in Chatham, the Cape is a virtually bottomless pot of gold when it comes to weddings and private function destinations.
No other single region in New England has a larger selection of beautiful oceanfront locations than Cape Cod. Less than 90 minutes from Boston, it is still close enough to take a day trip. Check out 4 or 5 venues in one day! You won’t be sorry!
Helpful tips for event planning a wedding on Cape Cod:
– Take traffic into consideration. Guests and vendors coming from the north must account for the Sagamore and Bourne bridges. These spots, as well as congested areas outside of Boston, are notorious for deterring travelers on their way to the Cape.
– If you have not yet chosen a caterer or photographer for your Cape Cod wedding and are unsure of who to use, please check with your Murray Hill Talent representative. We enjoy close working relationships with some of the area’s most sought after vendors.
– Venues on Cape Cod are extremely diverse. Some are small and merit the use of a distinguished jazz ensemble. Others are large and grandiose and would benefit from the strong sound of a professional sound system. Whether you want a disc jockey or a live band, always consider the size and style of your venue when choosing entertainment.
