{"id":7676,"date":"2025-03-03T18:35:50","date_gmt":"2025-03-03T18:35:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/wedding\/?p=7676"},"modified":"2025-03-06T15:10:00","modified_gmt":"2025-03-06T15:10:00","slug":"dj-niko-at-lyman-estate-waltham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/wedding\/dj-niko-at-lyman-estate-waltham\/","title":{"rendered":"DJ Niko at Lyman Estate, Waltham"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this off-season, while we reflect on the successful summer and fall of 2024, I have to shout out my favorite wedding of the year! \u00a0I was at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.historicnewengland.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lyman Estate<\/a> in Waltham, MA on a perfect September night, celebrating Katerina and Joe. \u00a0They were such a sweet couple; drama free and ready to party. \u00a0We talked a few times before the wedding so we really had a chance to get to know each other. \u00a0I always find this makes for a much more successful event. \u00a0Once you\u2019re in a groove with a couple, you can just focus on making the vision come to life. \u00a0Our resident guitarist\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/wedding\/boston-musicians\/guitarists\/\">Tom Pendergast<\/a>\u00a0played the ceremony and I picked up for cocktail hour and the reception. \u00a0It was clear from the get go that dancing was the focus. \u00a0Dinner was just the fuel! \u00a0Katerina and Joe were on the dance floor from beginning to end and if the bride and groom are getting down like that, how can the rest of the guests not?! \u00a0It was infectious energy. \u00a0The song of the night, which has been coming up a lot lately, was Gimme! Gimme! We chose guitarist Tom Pendergast for our ceremony and DJ Niko for our cocktail hour and reception. Both were excellent and easy to work with! The ceremony music was beautiful, and Tom even started playing a little early as we were taking photos in the ceremony space. Throughout the planning process, Niko was so kind, and was available to answer questions and help us plan the perfect night. Niko had the dance floor PACKED on our wedding night, and played such a fun mix of music that had everyone up and dancing. He did a great job reading the room, and played all of the songs we wanted to hear. The dance party was a highlight of the night for us and our guests.
