In my experience, September is THE month for weddings in New England. \u00a0Everyone wants to hit the sweet spot of weather. \u00a0It won\u2019t be too hot, it won\u2019t be too cold, or so we hope! \u00a0No matter the weather, September of 2018 has held some of the best weddings I\u2019ve done in my entire career.\u00a0 Seriously, night after night, week after week, each party seemed to top the last!\u00a0 All we want as entertainers is to have a packed dance floor leaping and screaming with their hands in the air.\u00a0 It’s the best part of my job.<\/span><\/p>\n

September 2nd I teamed up with Fireside Catering<\/a>\u00a0and Esther Mathieu Photography<\/a>\u00a0at Fruitlands Museum<\/a> in Harvard, MA to celebrate Mary and Steve Roth.\u00a0 This party was off the hook.\u00a0 We kicked it off with our own harpist<\/a>\u00a0for ceremony and cocktail hour and then I brought down the house with a jammed dance floor until they kicked us out!\u00a0 The party was killer but check out the VIEW and that sunset over the mountains right behind the sweetheart table!!<\/p>\n

September 8th was special because it took me to a venue I’ve never been to!\u00a0 We were at Sharksmouth Estate<\/a> in Manchester By The Sea, which is a SWEET rental property.\u00a0 Check out my pictures of the property.\u00a0 A truly unique ceremony space and a jaw dropping house to match.\u00a0 The party?\u00a0 Oh man, what a crowd.\u00a0 Check out my boomerang of them losing it on the dance floor!\u00a0 Hattie and Mike Bailey were a wonderful couple.\u00a0 Hattie surprised Mike with a videographer to capture everything so I set up a microphone for the ceremony to help them out.\u00a0 Raya on Assignment<\/a> took the professional photos!<\/p>\n

You know I couldn’t go a month without visiting the Barn at Gibbet Hill<\/a>, so I went there the very next night!\u00a0 Ashley and Dan had an intimate Sunday night wedding that was anything but “a school night”.\u00a0 Whether or not you like “Shout”, these folks did and it shook the dance floor until the lights came on!\u00a0 Many thanks to the lovely Deirdre at the Barn for her hard work as always.\u00a0 Thanks for Chris Roux<\/a> for capturing the pics too!<\/p>\n

And what’s this?!\u00a0 Twice in one month I visit places I’ve never been?\u00a0 North Chatham is hiding a gem of a rental property with the Turntide Estate.\u00a0 This one is not an easy one to find online but check out this listing<\/a> here!\u00a0 I shouldn’t pick favorites but this wedding probably took the gold medal this September.\u00a0 It was perfect.\u00a0 It could not have been any more perfect.\u00a0 The weather was perfect, the setting – amazing.\u00a0 Our own Tom Pendergast<\/a>\u00a0played guitar at ceremony and cocktail hour.\u00a0 My absolute favorite photographers in the game, Kristen and Joe from Organic Photography<\/a>\u00a0bobbed and weaved their way through an insane dance floor to immortalize the memories.\u00a0 But check out my amateur footage anyway because they were losing their minds to Rihanna!\u00a0 Alli and Eric were the most pleasant couple to be around and it was a real pleasure playing for them.<\/p>\n

I went to Castle Hill<\/a> in Newport the next night, September 17th, to party with Alex and Melissa.\u00a0 Not every wedding is a complete rager so I really felt like September was going to take a night off, but nope!\u00a0 This crowd went hard RIGHT from the get go.\u00a0 Castle Hill is as classy as it gets and so were the bride and groom.\u00a0 Check out the awesome sunset photo I snagged after the ceremony seats had been abandoned.\u00a0 Such a gorgeous night.<\/p>\n

Welp, September 22nd was a couple days before my own wedding anniversary!\u00a0 I originally planned to take the day off but I got a call from a wonderful woman whose family I’d already done two weddings for.\u00a0 I couldn’t say no.\u00a0 Her daughter Chantal and her husband to be, Chris, had their reception at Sky Meadow Country Club<\/a> in Nashua, NH.\u00a0 I knew some of the family from past events so I KNEW this one was going to be a blast.\u00a0 I met a new photographer friend who was so much fun, Shannon Lee<\/a>.\u00a0 Chantal and Eric LOVED the classics.\u00a0 They truly had a mixed crowd of young friends and older family members so seeing everyone on the dance floor at once was really awesome.\u00a0 I did their uplighting<\/a> too.\u00a0 Check out the hyperlink to learn more!\u00a0 Chantal, an avid Disney fan, even changed into a replica of Belle’s dress from Beauty and the Beast to share a special dance with Chris!<\/p>\n
