Flipside absolutely rocked the wedding of Jenny Johnson, producer and co-host of NESN\u2019s \u201cDining Playbook,<\/a>\u201d and Robert Cocuzzo,\u00a0the editor of Nantucket Magazine<\/a>, this past fall at the Boston Public Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The wedding was officiated by\u00a0Charlie Kravetz, general manager of WBUR<\/a>, who happens to be Johnson\u2019s first boss and\u00a0longtime mentor. Kravetz has also known Cocuzzo and his family for years \u2014 Cocuzzo\u2019s father is a barber who has cut Kravetz\u2019s\u00a0hair for decades \u2014 and the couple said the shared connection made him the perfect candidate.<\/p>\n

Billy Costa, Johnson\u2019s cohost on \u201cDining Playbook\u201d and her longtime business partner, was her\u00a0\u201cman of honor\u201d for the ceremony \u2014 alongside her sister, who was the maid of honor.<\/p>\n

The BPL itself was also a guest of honor in the ceremony; it\u2019s where Cocuzzo\u00a0wrote his first book, and it \u201csignifies Boston\u00a0for both of us,\u201d Johnson said. Table & Tulip<\/a> handled flowers, Montilios Bakery<\/a> did the beautiful cake and Flipside from\u00a0Murray Hill Talent was the band for the reception. \u00a0Murray Hill Talent also arranged to have a grand piano delivered to the courtyard of the BPL for the ceremony where Flipside vocalist Tori Boyd sang a gorgeous version of “Edelweiss” as the processional song.<\/p>\n

In planning the music for the night, Flipside bandleader Corin Ashley discovered that in addition to being big fan of the 80s, Jenny is a huge Billy Joel fan and was able to incorporate several Billy Joel requests including “Just The Way You Are” for the couple’s first dance, “Only the Good Die Young” and a rousing arm- in-arm sing- along of “Piano Man ” to end the night. The packed dance floor included included\u00a0Linda Holliday\u00a0and Patriots coach\u00a0Bill Belichick<\/a>,\u00a0Tom Werner, Kiss 108\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0Lisa\u00a0Donovan, restaurateur\u00a0Ed Kane, designer\u00a0Tonya\u00a0and author\u00a0Ben Mezrich, Davio\u2019s boss\u00a0Steve\u00a0DiFillippo, and\u00a0 Matty in the Morning<\/a>\u201d\u2019s\u00a0Matt Siegel.<\/p>\n
