This was the very first Big Fake Wedding (originally called \u201cNotWedding\u201d) event for the Boston market. This intriguing concept lays out a backdrop for wedding industry vendors to showcase their products and services to engaged brides and grooms as if they are attending an actual wedding. \u00a0 A unique aspect about this event is that it showcases<\/a> the entire day and process.\u00a0 Make up designers and hair stylists are working with the \u201cBride\u201d all morning, Florists are placing flowers throughout the venue during the day, Bakers are baking cakes, Caterers cooking dinner,\u2014the whole nine yards !<\/p>\n

The actors that were involved in this event were an actual married couple that have been married for 7 years and were using this unique opportunity as a vowel renewal ceremony.<\/p>\n

We enlisted one of our most versatile bands Unity<\/a> and top DJ Scott Arrington<\/a> to handle all the music, emceeing and formalities.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe hand-selected vendors perform their services as they would at a real wedding, and the\u00a0\u201cwedding guests\u201d get to hear the music, taste the cakes, and smell the flowers\u2026 while\u00a0enjoying a night of great food, dancing and surprises, leaving brides-and-grooms-to-be\u00a0saying \u201cI want my wedding to be just like that!\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

For brides and grooms, the event serves as a source of inspiration, a resource in finding\u00a0trusted wedding vendors and an emotional reminder to plan for what comes after the\u00a0wedding: a marriage! For participating wedding vendors, the event exposes their business\u00a0to new referral sources, while also exposing each vendor to a wealth of inspiration,\u00a0resources and confidence to take their business to the next level.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
