This August, our wedding band Closing Time treated guests to a super fun and spontaneous surprise when the groom jumped on stage with them to perform Def Leppard’s 80s metal hit “Pour Some Sugar on Me.” The band hadn’t performed the song in a while. But when the best man told them that it was the groom’s go-to karaoke song,…

You guys were absolutely amazing! Redline was INCREDIBLE. Hands down the best part of my wedding day was having them as the live band. The pianist for the ceremony played all of the songs I wanted, Matt the drummer took care of all of my announcements that needed done, and they truly were just wonderful people. I can’t say enough how talented they were as well. All of my guests raved about Redline and how the singers came out onto the dance floor with us, and how they had an amazing guitarist & sax player as well! 10/10 experience.

Closing Time absolutely made our wedding! They could not have been a better addition to our day. Incredibly talented, energetic, and so much fun, the band kept the dance floor packed all night long. They were a dream to work with, listening to all our requests for what to play and what not to play, and putting together a set list that matched us perfectly. Every single guest told us they were the best wedding band they had ever heard. Truly money well spent, and we are so happy they were part of our celebration!

We were incredibly happy with the band – everyone had a blast. People have continued to comment on how well they played and how they performed. We really appreciated how engaged they were the whole time and how well they were able to adapt to the vibe of the party. Brian specifically was excellent as a band leader, and we really appreciated that he came to check in with us during the party and asked for feedback live. He was also great throughout the planning process the week of and really helped alleviate our stress from planning. Overall we couldn’t be happier, and thanks to yourselves and everyone in the band for helping make our wedding so much fun.

Casey and I just wanted to extend our deepest gratitude for making the dance floor the most epic dance party of our lives. I was never one to dream about my wedding when I was a little girl, the only thing I knew was that I wanted the dance floor to be epic…and boy did you deliver!! You all are such amazingly talented individuals and we are so thrilled you were there to make the celebrations the most fun!

Flipside was absolutely incredible at our August wedding! They exceeded every expectation and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The energy was electric all night — from the amazing acoustic guitar and saxophone during cocktail hour, to the musicians joining us on the dance floor, to inviting the bride and mother of the bride on stage to play tambourine during Proud Mary, and finally closing the night with a joyful group sing-along to Pink Pony Club. Highly recommend, guests still talk about how great the energy was at our wedding thanks to Flipside!

Murray Hill had many DJs to choose from, and after watching all of their introductory videos and interviewing a few over the phone – we decided to go with Brendan Howard. I could not recommend Brendan enough! He figured out our exact taste in music and ran with it – every single song was a hit! He perfectly controlled the dance floor and everybody was having such a good time he had to work in a few slow songs to give us all a break! He made our night super special and is a beyond talented DJ.
