DJ Paul Natale was happy to share his responses to a few fun questions about his work.
1) If you had to be trapped in an elevator with one deceased artist or band, who would it be and what two questions would you ask them?
David Bowie – “Can I get a selfie with you?” and “Why am I asking a dead guy in an elevator for a selfie?”
2) Most unusual song request asked by a guest?
Jim Croce’s “Time In A Bottle” – during the pinnacle of a high-energy dance set.
3) An embarrassing moment at work?
Once I ate a bacon wrapped scallop that was offered to me by the catering staff, and of course right then, with my mouth full of food, the wedding coordinator walked up to me and started going over things with me.
4) You’re so excited when you see what you get for dinner at an event-what is it?
Anything is appreciated! I’m honestly not picky at all when it comes to a work meal.
5) Least favorite request?
“Baby Got Back” – I guess I don’t like big butts or something.
