The atmosphere at the Newport Beach House in Rhode Island is a cross between Southern California and New England. For this October 8, Newport wedding, the couple Debra and Bryan also looked amazing and the planning they did paid off – this wedding went off perfectly. As a guest, afternoon weddings are always my favorite because they are bright and everyone is full with the excitement of the day. Daytime can be tricky for the band because it’s harder to get people up to dance when it’s so bright, but here this was not the case. Everyone came ready to party! I performed the cocktail hour solo and the guests shocked me by sitting, watching, and clapping! The day was going by so quickly and as soon as all of the speeches and formalities were done we jumped into our dance set. The very first song we played got half the room on their feet and no one seemed to sit down for the rest of the day. I love performing at weddings and getting to be a part of someone’s special day. Some stick out in your mind more than others and this one I remember so clearly. From the emotional moment of the Groom dancing with his daughter to the hilarious speeches that were made, to the Father and Mother of the bride celebrating their anniversary with a special dance, this is one of those events that will be hard to forget!
Eastern Standard did an outstanding job at my daughter’s wedding on October 8 at Newport Beach House. The music was superb, the emcee did a very good job. All went well. I am most appreciative of their efforts. I would recommend them to anyone for their event. And…I appreciate and enjoyed working with Murray Hill Talent.

We had an amazing day. The band was excellent and we had many people offer compliments about the music. We only wish we could have partied with you longer! – Bryan Byerlee (Groom)
