You’re getting married at the beginning of September on Cape Cod and people are already mourning the end of summer. The cure is simple. Eastern Standard Duo provides the perfect musical backdrop for your tent wedding or coastal celebration. The Beach Boys, Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffet and Jack Johnson are just a few of the artists from whom Eastern Standard draws its material. Available as an acoustic guitar and conga player at your cocktail hour and a 4-5 piece band picking things up from there!
Don’t look anywhere else. Murray Hill Talent is phenomenal. I’ve used them for corporate events for the last two years, and when we were deciding on music for our wedding, there was absolutely no question that we wanted to book them. We specifically worked with Eastern Standard. Ken is the guitarist and lead vocals. He played at our ceremony as well as throughout cocktail hour, later with the band, and then closed out the night DJing. He really loves what he does and it shows, which makes for an enjoyable experience for all. We got so many compliments on them all night and after the wedding, and the dance floor was packed until the last bus picked up. Leading up to the wedding, they were one of the easiest vendors to work with. Super laid back, and totally organized and professional. They’ve done this a million times and they’ve got it down pat. 1000000000% recommend them over and over again.
We hired Eastern Standard through Murray Hill Talent for our June wedding this year. They were extremely responsive as we inquired about services, potential dates, etc., and once we landed on a date and hired Eastern Standard, the band leader, Ken, was wonderful to work with – patient, understanding, even taking the time to share some personal thoughts and suggestions, which were very helpful. All in all, they were great to work, wonderful musicians and a great DJ, and I’d hire them again and recommend them to friends and family.
I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed Ken’s performance at my husband’s birthday party at the Weekapaug Inn on May 7. He was a pleasure to deal with in every way, and really contributed to the success of the party. He played beautifully and was right on target with his song choices. He seemed to know exactly the right mix, and respected our wish to keep the sound level low enough that people could enjoy his music, but still hear themselves talk at the party. Many party guests commented on how good he was.I would not hesitate to call on him again for a future party, and would be happy at any time to recommend him 100 percent to other people. A-plus!
