Paul has been a DJ since 2000, and since day one it has always been his goal to be the “least cheesy” DJ in the business. He clearly and confidently makes any necessary announcements, plays the right music at the right volume, and values your input. He realizes that while you may want an exciting, memorable, and wild dance party, he never oversteps his boundaries and turns your event into a circus.
From big band swing and romantic ballads from artists like Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett and Nat King Cole to Classic Rock, Motown, Disco, ’80s, ’90s, and up to the minute current music, Paul has more than enough music to please everyone.
I’ll keep in close contact with you before your event, to find out any special requests, or important information you may have for me. I’m at the Murray Hill office during the week, so it is easy to get a hold of me when it counts – in the days and weeks leading up to the event.
I am familiar with all of the negative connotations attached to the term DJ (loud mouthed, cheesy, hokey… to name a few) and that is exactly what I try to avoid. I like to let the music do the work for me. My philosophy about DJ-ing is that if people aren’t going to dance to the music, then they’re certainly not going to dance to me talking. The more people dance, the more fun you will have and fun is always my number one priority.
