Closing time was AMAZING! We saw them play at a friend’s wedding and as soon as we got engaged, they were the first group we called. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. Very flexible, communicative, and friendly. Leading up to the wedding, we crafted our experience together which felt very personal and stress free. They played during our ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance, parent dances, and reception and it was even better than we remembered. Closing Time Boston through Murray Hill Talent was our band and MC service for our August 2023 wedding. They are PHENOMENAL. Truly cannot describe how incredibly talented this band is. We have received so many compliments about how great of a band they were and how fun they made our reception. Ryan, the band leader, is amazing and so easy to work with. We had a call with him about two weeks before our wedding and reviewed overall what our likes and dislikes were for our setlist direction and I was amazed at how well they crafted it to meet what we wanted while still delivering happy surprises along the way. My parents 35th anniversary is this year, so they even learned my parents wedding song to surprise them half way through their first set at the reception. 10/10 recommend them – they will plan your entire ceremony, cocktail hour and entrances to a T, leaving you will full confidence, no stress, just enjoying your day. We hired Closing Time Boston as our band for our wedding and they were the highlight of the night! The team at Murray Hill Talent, Cory & Ryan, were great to work with- very responsive, patient and organized. They also provided the AV for our ceremony, ceremony music and cocktail reception music. Closing Time Boston was absolutely incredible for our July 2022 wedding in Poughkeepsie, NY. Our friends had Closing Time Boston at their wedding in September 2019 and once we got engaged and knew we wanted a band, we knew we had to reach out to Closing Time Boston. We loved them as a wedding guest and wanted the same experience for our wedding guests. Cory was super responsive in scheduling and coordinating our day, and the band leader Ryan was super professional and incredible to work with leading up to our big day. They happily made the trek from Boston to Hudson Valley and brought the energy and incredible music that kept our dance floor alive all night long. So many guests and workers at our venue came up to us and said they were one of the best wedding bands they had seen. We had an absolute blast with Closing Time Boston on our wedding day and would absolutely recommend booking them!!

Closing Time was the perfect wedding band! Planning and discussions were stress free and fun, we discussed timelines, names, introductions, ceremony music and most importantly reception music. The entire process was easy and Ryan really made it feel like they were there to make us have a good time. We used them for both our ceremony and reception and both went perfect. The band, Closing Time, was beyond excellent – band leader also was very helpful throughout the process. He arranged a perfect song list, and everyone at the wedding raved about music. They made our wedding beautiful. Definitely recommend Murray Hill for wedding talent hiring, and definitely recommend Closing Time if live bands are of interest.

We had the pleasure of having Closing Time perform at my daughters wedding this past September 2019. Music is a huge priority for me and our family, and the band was chosen carefully. Ryan and Closing Time did not disappoint. Their energy, & musical talent sent our guests to the dance floor early and often. The dance floor was filled the entire night! I had the unique perspective of having back to back weddings (my son got married last year). And even though, the band we hired were also talented, we had difficulties with changing members, poor communication and lack of flexibility (we used a different entertainment company). We had none of those issues with Closing Time.

From our initial phone call with Ryan, he was enthusiastic about performing, thorough with the planning of the reception, and even promised to learn a new song for our final dance with less than two weeks notice. He was on site to set up early, and the entire band was ready to perform at the end of the cocktail hour. Our guests gave us great feedback on them, and we would not hesitate to hire them again, and/or recommend them to our friends. I hope to hear them again in the future.

What a fantastic night we had at my daughters Kate’s wedding last night. Closing Time is definitely the best band I have ever heard at any wedding I have ever attended. Not only did they keep the party going all night long they we also just a great group of people. We couldn’t have hoped for more. I don’t think there is anything the band could have done better. Everyone was very impressed and said they are one of the best bands they have ever seen. Everything was paced perfectly and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This review is for Closing Time and I have to start by saying they were amazing! Everyone at Murray Hill was great to work with, very friendly and made the process to find our wedding band super easy. We went to see closing time in Salem, MA before our wedding and were so excited about their performance that we could not wait for them to play our wedding. Working with Ryan from Closing Time was also very easy. We spoke about a week before the wedding, talked through the songs we wanted to hear, specific do-not-play songs, and just getting to know them. When the day for the wedding came, Ryan was an awesome MC for the reception and doing introductions. But the performance they put on for us was amazing. All of our guests were on the dance for 3 hours straight, no one wanted to take a break because the performance was so good. Thank you to everyone at Murray Hill and especially the members of Closing Time, you guys really made our wedding a lot of fun!

We decided to go with the band Closing Time and we are so incredibly glad we did! Ryan the manager/lead singer was in contact with us via email and then called us the week before our wedding to iron out all the details. Ryan was very easygoing and great to deal with! The band was absolutely AMAZING and had all of our wedding guests on the dance floor all night long! I remember looking out at the tables and not one person was sitting! They played all the right songs and guests later raved about how good they were. To us, having good music was such an important part of our big day and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! You guys rock!!

Ryan from the band was awesome, we had email contact with the manager for most of the time in the year before the wedding and organized with her on which song we wanted the band to learn and filling out our day of timeline and then about a week before the wedding Ryan from the band gave us a call and went over all the wedding party names, the timeline, how we want things to go and what not. He was friendly, upbeat, excited for our day, and showed all that exuberance on the day of! The Closing Time did an hour of accoustic guitar for the cocktail hour and then integrated some dj songs and traditional greek songs that we requested throughout the night. Everyone loved the band and the band got everyone going! Highly recommend them!.

Ourselves and our guests absolutely loved Closing Time. They were so accommodating, cheerful, and such a blast! We still have people coming up to us telling us they were the best wedding band ever. We will definitely write glowing reviews for them.

We hired Closing Time via Murray Hill Talent for our wedding on 9/22/18 and they were absolutely fantastic. They totally accommodated our preference in music and had all our guests on the dance floor all night. We also used them for ceremony and cocktail hour music and they were fantastic. We hired the band CLOSING TIME, they were absolutely fantastic! Communication with both Scott (manager at Murray Hill) and Ryan (bandleader) was super easy. They also communicated directly with the venue about set up and other questions so it was very stress free for us. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and almost everybody commented on how great the music was. Music was one of our priorities, so we were willing to spend a bit more and CLOSING TIME is definitely worth the money!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for Closing Time! I can’t truly put into words how phenomenal Closing Time was at our wedding a few weeks ago! We found them online about a year and a half ago and we ventured up to Boston to see them in person before booking and we were just blown away. We had the pleasure of having Ryan, the band leader, acoustic during the ceremony and cocktail hour and he was sensational. The reception from start to finish was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. We decided on the 7-piece band (I highly recommend that option!) Right when the main course was finished, 95% of the guests were on the dance floor and never left all night. The energy was infectious and it radiated to each and every one of our guests. That was the quickest 4 hours of our lives! Song selections and flow were sensational. The band left their hearts on the stage and we couldn’t get enough! We truly had the time of our lives!!

Closing Time was AMAZING! Every song was perfection. The band played every single one of our requests and the other songs they played matched our taste and got all of our guests dancing. Since the wedding, I’ve been asked for their information multiple times – and I hope that more business will go their way as a result of their amazing performance at our wedding. They were also incredibly gracious and easy to work with, which is so helpful in the case of a DIY wedding like ours.

Closing time is an amazing band! We got so many complements from our wedding about how great the band was. People didn’t leave the dance floor all night. They were super easy to work with, and worked hard to make sure I was comfortable with the entire outline of the night, customizing it to fit myself and my husband.
