Tara & Stephen’s Sunday evening wedding on the Taj roofdeck was a small, intimate crowd of friends & family, and as such, the band performed as a scaled-down 5-piece configuration. The bride & groom provided us with a pretty lengthy request list, but the band was able to deliver just about everything they asked for. Dinner requests included spirited versions of “All of Me” by John Legend, “How Long Will I love You” by Ellie Goulding, and “Budapest” by George Ezra.
Their first dance was Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” that bassist Dave Lieb gave a soulful rendition of on vocals.
DNCE’s recent hit “Cake By the Ocean” was one of the big dance hits of the night, and Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On A Prayer,” Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance”and Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” brought down the house.
The evening’s festivities were capped off with “The Way I Am” by Ingrid Michaelson, sung sweetly by vocalist Brittney Wells, followed by a rose pedal send-off.
