Let’s face it – sometimes by the end of wedding season, we need a little jolt to keep our energy at its peak! Ben and Serena Honeycutt were my jolt. This past November, I was lucky enough to work at one of our favorite venues, and one of the most classic in Boston, the Hampshire House. There’s obviously a lot of history there, with the original Cheers bar being downstairs, but the event floors are stunning. The venue is unique and having experience working there is key. Guests are moved from floor to floor for different parts of the event and the staff works feverishly to flip the Library from ceremony to reception in a short amount of time. It’s pretty impressive to watch! Things felt mellow during dinner so I thought it might be a quieter crowd, but boy was I wrong! It’s not a huge room so the dance floor is intimate and gets packed easily. Ben and Serena favored family friendly classics during our preliminary conversations but before I knew it, the whole room was raging to Hotel Room Service by Pitbull! 😂 That’s something I’ll always remember and the couple was nice enough to give me and Murray Hill a shout out online! Summer is king in New England but this late autumn night in Beacon Hill was unforgettable.
Murray Hill Talent was exceptional for our wedding, the team is timely, professional and experienced. They were able to answer any questions we had deftly. Julio was awesome on the day of our event! He kept our guests on the dance floor and hyped up our speeches like no other. Couldn’t recommend more!
