Scott was a perfect professional. He took the time to listen and understand what we wanted, including our desire to stick very closely to a playlist. He MC’ed flawlessly and confidently, and did any little details (like fading out of a father-daughter dance song at a very specific point) adeptly. We had a blast dancing to the music, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. I’d highly recommend Scott if you’re looking for a DJ for your wedding!

We chose to use Scott from Murray Hill Talent as our DJ for our wedding because we heard him at one of our friend’s wedding. We loved him then and we love him more after our wedding. He was so easy to work with and was able to accommodate all of our music choices. We wanted to have the dance floor filled all night, and we succeeded. We recently hired Murray Hill Talent for our wedding in May 2023 at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester. We had infinity strings perform for our ceremony/cocktail hour and then had Scott as our DJ for the reception. Everyone was so professional and easy to work with. The string music was beautiful and Scott had literally all of our guests on the dance floor all night. We told him we wanted a party and he delivered! Would recommend this company, they were great.

We booked Scott Arrington to DJ our wedding at the Barn at Gibbet Hill and he was AMAZING. He was super professional, knew exactly what he was doing on all fronts (music, sound, MC, scheduling, etc), and was able to keep the dance floor going ALL night. The dance floor was probably one of my favorite parts of the whole day (ok, other than the getting married part LOL). A DJ/MC is probably one of the most important vendors especially during the reception, yet Scott made it so easy for us. He took care of everything and allowed us to be hands-off/worry-free so we could enjoy our special day. Thank you Scott!!

Scott was AMAZING! I honestly cannot say enough good things; everyone of all ages had a total blast at our wedding. He completely listened to all of our “must play”/ “do not play” requests and he chose an awesome playlist of music that kept people on the dance floor all night – truly perfect! I don’t think there was a single song that made people want to sit down. We spoke with Scott the week of our wedding to go over everything and he was super detail oriented. We hired DJ Scott Arrington for our wedding on 9/18/21. We had seen him at a friend’s wedding a couple years prior and knew he was great. Our guests commented on how great the music was- a lot of us were on the dance floor all night! He definitely reads the the crowd to see what the mood/vibe is and plays songs to match that. I noticed at one point, the dance floor was clearing out, but he then played a slow song and it got everyone back on it. He was always friendly to talk to, and was responsive to my emails. Scott was the DJ at our wedding on 12/21 and I can’t recommend him enough. He was wonderful about checking in with us to find out our music preferences and we really feel like he listened and incorporated our requests and preferences into his music selection. Scott arrived exactly when he said he would, and was set up in plenty of time for the wedding to start. He was very professional throughout our entire experience with him. The dance floor was full all night, and everyone (including us) had so much fun! People keep telling us our wedding was the best wedding they’d ever been to and I think that has a lot to do with Scott’s DJing! Scott Arrington was the DJ at our wedding in September and we had an awesome time working with him! We booked pretty far in advance, but Scott was still very responsive in getting back to us and setting up a call to talk through available services. Prior to the wedding, Scott worked closely with us and our coordinator to make sure everything was squared away. Aside from DJ services, he also provided sound equipment for our JOP and a mic for our cousin who performed our first dance song. Scott’s music selection throughout the night was definitely on point and exactly what we had in mind, the dance floor was packed and everyone had an amazing time. My wife and I were lucky enough to have DJ Scott Arrington from Murray Hill Talent. From the first phone conversation we had with Scott we both felt he would be great. He was professional, knowledgeable and he was extremely easy to talk to. He was understanding and accepting to all of our requests and had all the right questions for us that we didn’t even think to ask. The wedding was no different. He was perfect!

We hired Scott Arrington for our wedding as he ran the PA for our ceremony and DJ’ed the reception. We could not be happier with our experience. Scott worked with us to balance our song requests to ensure we had the right flow to our wedding. To preface this review: when looking for vendors, it was difficult to choose because I felt like everyone had 5 stars (I assumed because every bride thinks her wedding is the best wedding ever, fair enough!). I came across Murray Hill Talent when looking for a combination of live music and DJ for my ceremony/wedding, and after hopping on the phone with them they were so easy going yet professional I knew we would be in good hands. Honestly, Murray Hill Talent is worth every star (and then some). They were so easy to work with and were incredible professionals who made our night an absolute blast.

Just wanted to say that Scott did an unreal job DJing for my wife Lauren and my wedding last weekend. He was on top of his game from the first song for us through the very last one to end the night with a bang. We’ll be recommending him if anyone asks us for a DJ recommendation.

Scott Arrington was our DJ and he did an amazing job! He kept the young and old dancing all night. He even incorporated some traditional Portuguese music for us. All in all a great guy and he made our wedding awesome.

Where do I begin with Murray Hill Talent – when we first inquired with them for our wedding we were paired with Scott Arrington. Scott is an absolutely blast! He is super professional from the first meeting until the day of. He ensures you have every detailed covered – even details you might not think about. My husband and I had a few specific requests and he hit every single one of them right on the money! Scott kept our day moving, from ceremony to last dance (checking in with us periodically to make sure we were happy with the way the day was moving) and kept everyone and I mean everyone on the dance floor! Everyone had an absolute blast and gave us a ton of compliments on how great our DJ was!

We loved working with our DJ Scott and he got our intentions for a fun reception without cheesy music. We gave him a few songs that we wanted to hear and he went off that to choose the other music which was perfect. He played Hava Nagila at the right time which brought everyone to the dance floor and kept them there all night! He was also super responsive in the months and weeks before the wedding. Murray Hill was a great value and the service was amazing. I would recommend them and Scott to anyone!

Scott was fantastic! He was such an integral part of every component of the wedding from the ceremony right through the last song of the night. Aside from a few requests for the reception, we mostly trusted him to do his thing – and we were not disappointed! He was professional (never cheesy!) and really showed his expertise at reading the crowd and playing music that would keep people on the floor. We have had so many family and friends tell us that our DJ was awesome. Scott announced the last song of the night, then he surprised us by throwing in one more (like an encore) and the place went NUTS! A few relatives were joking they actually thought we were going to bring down the Regattabar the floor was shaking so much ha! We wanted a party – and Scott was the maestro!

Scott Arrington was awesome! We pretty much said play whatever gets people on the dance floor and keeps them there and he did just that! Ceremony and dinner music selections were great too. He was not one of those obnoxious djs on the mic the whole time making the day about them. He was respectful, professional, and helped to make the day absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!!!

We had the chance to work with Scott for our wedding day and was happy with our decision. From the beginning process to the day of wedding, Scott was extremely helpful and professional. We worked with Scott Arrington for our wedding day, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly! From our first call, we could tell he was on the same page with us with regard to the tone of our wedding and the kind of music we were looking for. Because I can’t help myself and organize everything to death, we provided him with a few playlists: one for the songs with purposes like what I’d be walking down the aisle to, entrance music, cake cutting song, etc., one with “must plays” for the reception, and another with music requested by our guests. We told him to use his best judgment with what to play when outside of the required songs, and he nailed it! We also told him not to accept song request from certain artists on our “do not play” list, and one of our wedding guests thought it would be fun to quiz him and occasionally ask to play one of those songs throughout the night. It came as no surprise that he never did play those songs and held up his end of the deal. We had a wonderful experience with Scott, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for music for their wedding day!

Murray Hill Talent was amazing! We had both a DJ and a photo booth at our wedding. They were highly professional and worked with us to ensure everything was just the way we wanted it for our big day. Our DJ, Scott, was highly attentive, punctual, and a true professional throughout the evening and flexed with us as we made song requests or needed to adjust the schedule.

Paul, who ran our photo booth, was equally attentive to our needs and ensured our funnest moments were captured. Everyone loved the photo booth and it really added to the evening’s events. I would highly recommend Murray Hill Talent to my friends and family in the future!

Wow! Scott was amazing! We’re still getting complements that it was the best wedding ppl have ever been to and our DJ was so on point, the dance floor was full at all times and how great it was that he had multiple generations on the floor the whole night. I couldn’t have been happier with him. Also, his communication beforehand was unreal. He sent me the dJ planner, was patient with my changes, helped me find versions of songs I liked and he really set me at ease days before when we spoke on the phone. He also helped my fiancé with finding equipment so he could perform a song. If I were to do it all again we’d choose Scott every time. Really can’t sing his praises enough.

Scott did an amazing job DJing our July 2018 wedding. He was excellent to work with. We had high expectations for the music for our wedding and he did not disappoint. I’ve been to weddings where the DJ killed the entire vibe of the reception, but Scott made sure everyone had a great time! Many of the bridal party’s last names were very hard to pronounce, but Scott called me so he could phonetically spell them when he announced them during our entrance. I highly recommend him!

Hiring Scott Arrington from Murray Hill Talent was one of the best wedding decisions we made and my wife and I were beyond impressed with Scott! He provided a flawless performance for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

We were so pleased with DJ Scott Arrington’s work at our recent wedding. He was super easy to work with, both during planning and day-of. His announcements were perfectly timed and very professional. One thing we always hated at weddings was when the music was too loud. Scott did a great job at making sure the volume was perfect for each part of the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. My husband and I even talked about it at our sweetheart table how the music was just loud enough to be heard but you could still very easily talk with those around you. Scott Arrington was the DJ for our Newport wedding. He was great! We received a lot of compliments on the music. We requested a lot of songs from when we were in college since the majority of our guests were friends. He was able to meet with us before the event and go over ourideas and do not play list. He did a great job of warming up the night with oldies and working his way towards more popular stuff. He even helped edit our first dance song prior to the event. I would recommend him!

After looking around and speaking with multiple DJs we went with Murray Hill Talent. They paired us with DJ Scott Arrington. It only took one conversation to realize Scott was who we were going with. His professionalism and personality sealed the deal for me and I knew he would be able to deliver the kind of wedding we were looking for. Scott is awesome!! We recently had him at our Saturday night wedding on the north shore and he did not disappoint. He was so easy to work with, and listened to what type of music we wanted played, and what to avoid (typical “wedding music”). He is very professional and played a huge part in making the evening flow really well. When the dancing started after dinner, the dance floor was packed. So many of our guests complimented the music. Scott does a great job of playing a combination of music that appealed to all guests so that everyone had fun. Live bands are great also, but unless it’s a REALLY good live band, you’re better off with a DJ in my opinion. Book Scott!!

DJ Scott Arrington did a fantastic job at our wedding in August. I would highly recommend him and Murray Hill Talent. Kevin and I had seen Scott DJ at our friends’ wedding a couple years ago. Once we became engaged, we both knew we wanted to have Scott DJ our wedding and luckily he was available! Dealing with Murray Hill was a pleasure. Paul Natale was very responsive and very accommodating.  The dance floor was never empty. Scott played music that I had requested along with other songs that were similar to we had asked for. Kevin and I were very pleased with how the night turned out. We continue to receive compliments about our wedding and I know that our guests had a wonderful night dancing thanks to Scott.

My husband and I used Scott Arrington of Murray Hill Talent for our recent wedding and he was excellent. All the guests were up dancing and said how great the music was, with very few “need to play” requests.

I couldn’t say enough how wonderful Scott was. He made our Sunday daytime wedding feel like Saturday night. He is awesome at reading the crowd and making sure to keep everyone moving while playing the kind of music we requested. We asked him to avoid all the typical wedding songs so the fact that he was able to keep the dance floor packed with people of all ages despite not relying on the classics was nothing short of amazing. In addition, it was a double wedding and he was able to handle this non traditional set up with ease.

Scott was my DJ from Murray Hill and he was amazing! The dance floor was packed all night long! I didn’t give him a lot of direction in terms of what songs I wanted, all I said was make it a party and keep that dance floor going and he delivered! My family and so many guests came up to me during and after the wedding commenting how much fun it was and requesting his playlist! Additionally, my family is Armenian and I requested that he integrate a few traditional Armenian songs into the mix. He did this flawlessly without interrupting the flow of the reception at all and kept the dance party going! I would highly recommend Scott to anyone. We didn’t want the night to end!

I can’t say enough good things about Murray Hill Talent’s DJ Scott Arrington. He showed great diversity in the music he played and displayed an uncanny ability to keep the dance floor full for the entire reception. When I say full, I am talking about a floor packed with people ages 10-88 years old. So yes. He can do his job. He wasn’t a showman–he played great music and only took the mic when necessary. He was professional from our first consultation to the last song. Everyone all night was saying “this DJ is amazing!” It was the truth. He really made the wedding such a memorable experience! Our wedding was on 2/15/2015 at the Omni Parker House in Boston during a blizzard when public transportation was closed and travel was restricted. He showed up the night before and got a hotel room because he was “not going to miss this for any reason.” What a class act. If you’re looking for a wedding DJ, look no further than Scott Arrington.

Scott Arrington was the DJ at our wedding. I was impressed with his quick response to my first email, and his professionalism leading up to our wedding. His music planning sheet was great, and really helped to focus our song selections and vibe we were going for at our wedding. Scott blended our two music preferences well, and kept people on the dance floor. My brother is a DJ, so admittedly I am a little more critical than most reviewers because I have a lot to compare to. We were pleased with his service, but I thought he lacked a strong microphone presence. I honestly believe I could have hired a better DJ for less money.

Scott really seemed to get our taste in music. I particularly loved one song he played during the reception and he said he chose it because he heard that we picked a song by the same artist for part of our ceremony music. We also had the same sense of humor about out cake cutting song. He had everyone out on the dance floor the whole night, and was the perfect balance of MC & DJ. I never felt he was intrusive or cheesy with the introductions. In fact, one of my guests loved him so much she made sure to get a card from him for her upcoming wedding!

Scott was such a talented DJ for our reception!!! He played every single song that we requested, and didn’t play anything corny. So happy to have hired him. Tom was our guitarist during the ceremony, and was also extremely talented! We asked him to change the style that the songs are typically played, and he played them perfectly. We were so impressed with what a talented musician he was!

We recently had Scott Arrington DJ for our wedding at the Barn at Gibbet Hill and I can’t say enough great things about him! He was friendly, organized, responsive in helping us plan for the wedding and hit it out of the park the day of! From the moment the dance floor was open it was completely packed-never a bad song played, never an open square inch on the dance floor! My husband is from Groton, MA and I my family is from Costa Rica and he managed to blend the music from both cultures seamlessly. Highly, highly, highly recommend him!!!!

Scott Arrington was our DJ- hand picked with the help of my venue coordinator because I wanted someone cool & non cheesy. Scott was perfection. He was always responsive and reassuring. Our pre wedding meeting with him was so much fun! We provided a lot of suggestions for music to play, and he loved our choices. It felt great to hear feedback from a professional that we made good song choices. He played music for the ceremony, cocktail hour (country music montage!), and all night long! He kept the party going, didn’t make a scene, and was thoughtful to come find my husband & I before the last song was played (we were outside taking it all in!) so we could enjoy the last drop of our evening with our guests. There were no cheesy group dance songs played and the music that was played was catered to our tastes and not just a top 40 countdown.
