Murray Hill Talent has worked at Rosecliff in Newport hundreds of times. This venue is a mainstay and an institution not only in Newport tourism but in the wedding industry. It is one of the most sought after venues in New England, and for good reason. It’s impossible for a couple not to feel like a King and Queen at such an elegant venue. Will and Ashley Girten were certainly the royal couple when Closing Time took the stage to perform at their wedding. The band provided solo piano and ceremony PA services for the ceremony, followed by a solo guitar and vocal performance at the cocktail hour. Closing Time’s 7-piece configuration convened for dinner and dancing and Will and Ashley couldn’t have been happier! Take a look at their thank you note to Ryan, the bandleader, following the wedding. It says far more than we could say in a blog! After all, you want to hear from other satisfied clients, not just us! This is what fulfills all the dreams you’ve ever had for your wedding! Next to Closing Time, this group of vendor was top notch. We’ll make sure to include links to all of them so you can check out their work!
Hi Guys!
I can’t believe it’s been almost a week already since our wedding. It has been a whirlwind and Will and I couldn’t be any happier!!
I cannot thank you guys enough for everything. People still have not stopped raving about how amazing the band was! When we first got engaged, Will and I made a list of our top 3 wedding-planning priorities, and music was one of them. Can I please just tell you that you guys seriously knocked it out of the park!!!!!!!! You exceeded all of our expectations and we are still on cloud 9 from how amazing the night was! Literally every single guest has told us how fantastic the music was, how amazing your voices and talents were, how the variety of music was perfect, and the energy in the room was so well maintained the whole night! People were dying over Ryan’s voice and acoustic guitar at cocktail hour – my father specifically hasn’t stopped taking about it. The keyboard during our ceremony was absolutely perfect. During the reception you sang every single song we could have ever wanted, sounded so amazing, and our guests absolutely loved it. You guys were such a HUGE part of making our wedding day an absolute dream.
I apologize sincerely for being sick for the majority of the night. Unfortunately it’s not the first time that’s happened and it won’t be the last; it’s just something I have to live with and I hope it didn’t affect you all. The important part to me is that Will and our guests still had the time of their lives, which is exactly how the night went down and I can’t thank you enough!! I was really looking forward to dancing the night away and I also was looking forward to just talking to the band a bit because you guys seem so nice and fun – I’m so sorry I didn’t get to thank you more in person and dance all night to show my gratitude, but I hope you know how much I appreciate you all! Will and I have already discussed making a trip up to Boston at some point to come to the Lawn on D (or whatever bar/venue you may be at during that time) and watch you guys perform again and dance around and relive our wedding, and I couldn’t be more excited! 😄😄😄
From the bottom of my heart, thank you SO incredibly much for everything you’ve done for us and our wedding. Please send me whatever websites you’d like me to post reviews or whatever I can do to help promote your business as you guys are literally the best wedding band I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching perform and you truly made our night.
If you happen to have a set list of songs from our wedding night, I’d love to have it just so I can make a playlist for my phone to relive our wedding regularly. 😃 If not, no big deal, and my fond memories of our wedding will suffice lol.
All our best!!!!Ashley & Will
