When the chemistry between a deejay and his clients is just right, it’s always a guarantee for a successful night. I Had the pleasure of working with an amazing couple Geoff & Steph, who had there wedding at Camp Kiwannee in Hanson, MA. The camp had significance to the bride as it was a family destination from the time she was a little girl, so it was only fitting for her to create her new life in marriage starting at a place she keeps close to her heart.
The tone of the evening and the atmosphere of its surroundings definitely reflected on the type of vibe Geoff and Steph had. From the musical selections to the family style catering to the simple decor, the night was filled with lots of smiles, people sharing lots of conversations, and a whole lot of dancing.
Working together with Geoff and Steph on the music, it’s always a Deejay’s goal of creating a playlist that keeps the guests coming back for more, and that’s exactly what happened. I don’t think I saw more than 3 or 4 ppl sitting down at one specific time throughout the entire dance party. Every time I mixed into a next track, between the ‘air guitar’ cousin to the group of college friends singing along, enjoying themselves is the easiest way to put it.
At the end of every evening, I always critique myself on how I performed by the reaction of the guests attending the wedding. When I get ‘high fives’ and several compliments I know it was a success. Still, as a performer, especially at weddings, It’s always the guests energy that makes me go harder and harder! Congrats Geoff & Steph!!! It was the first of many many more memorable experiences you will share as husband and wife!!!
