{"id":6720,"date":"2020-11-12T19:29:38","date_gmt":"2020-11-12T19:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/?p=6720"},"modified":"2023-01-25T21:58:45","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T21:58:45","slug":"great-gatsby-yvonnes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/great-gatsby-yvonnes\/","title":{"rendered":"Great Gatsby @ Yvonne&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s the password?\u201d Says an intimidating 1920\u2019s tough guy as we approach the \u201cspeakeasy\u201d.&nbsp; Behind him I can see a<a href=\"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/boston-impersonators-historical-characters\/\"> flapper girl<\/a> mingling and entertaining in the prohibition themed party.&nbsp; The event we were working was a company networking reception at the modern supper club,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yvonnesboston.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Yvonne\u2019s<\/a> in Boston.&nbsp; Two of Murray Hill Talent\u2019s&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/boston-impersonators-historical-characters\/\">professional actors<\/a> were playing their part (the tough guy and flapper girl) perfectly while the sultry sounds of our band <a href=\"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/twilight\/\">Twilight<\/a> illuminated the room.&nbsp; From beginning to end we were able to bring our clients vision of a \u201cGatsby, 1920\u2019s\u201d themed party to fruition.&nbsp; Who would\u2019ve guessed that with the right band and only a couple of actors you could transform your night from good too unforgettable.&nbsp; At Murray Hill Talent, this is why we love what we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>In May 2019, my company hosted a networking cocktail reception at Yvonne\u2019s in Boston. The prohibition-themed event yielded 350 attendees who were transformed to a 1920\u2019s era \u201cspeakeasy\u201d as soon as they walked through the door. We hired two actors from Murray Hill Talent. The first was stationed right inside the restaurant as a mobster bouncer, who asked each entrant for the secret password. His \u201ctough guy\u201d accent and ability to engage every attendee helped to set the tone. The second actor posed as a flapper and mingled with attendees throughout the restaurant, including posing for pictures. The music from the&nbsp;Gatsby-themed band, which was also sourced from Murray Hill Talent, helped to provide a serene and relaxing setting. Everyone we hired from Murray Hill was extremely professional. They arrived on time and regularly checked in during the event to ensure they were \u201cdelivering\u201d on our vision. I would have no hesitation to rehire anyone from Murray Hill Talent.
