{"id":6338,"date":"2019-03-01T15:36:08","date_gmt":"2019-03-01T15:36:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/?p=6338"},"modified":"2019-03-01T15:39:22","modified_gmt":"2019-03-01T15:39:22","slug":"proper-bostonians-for-swana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/proper-bostonians-for-swana\/","title":{"rendered":"Proper Bostonians for SWANA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Murray Hill Talent\u2019s exclusive band <a href=\"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/proper-bostonians\/\">The Proper Bostonians<\/a> were the featured entertainment at\u00a0\u201cSwanapalooza&#8221;, the end of session\u00a0reception for the\u00a0Solid Waste Association of North America. <a href=\"https:\/\/swana.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SWANA<\/a> is\u00a0an organization of professionals committed to advancing from\u00a0solid waste management to resource management through their shared emphasis on recycling, education, advocacy and research.\u00a0They held their annual meeting at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.signatureboston.com\/hynes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hynes Convention Center<\/a> to answer the important question: where does all our garbage go?<br \/>\nThe Proper Bostonians play a mix of classic rock based on the rich musical heritage of New England with favorites by Aerosmith, The\u00a0Cars, J Geils Band, Talking Heads, etc and the band was happy to be joined onstage by event organizer Phillip Goddard who rescued\u00a0an electric guitar from the local dump and sourced \u201cjunk\u201d parts to bring it back to life.
