{"id":5391,"date":"2017-03-07T18:11:19","date_gmt":"2017-03-07T18:11:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mhtboston.wpengine.com\/event\/?p=5391"},"modified":"2018-03-02T15:27:09","modified_gmt":"2018-03-02T15:27:09","slug":"intercontinental-hotel-boston-dj-corporate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/intercontinental-hotel-boston-dj-corporate\/","title":{"rendered":"A Flocking Affair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Had a great time at this one.\u00a0 This holiday party was a giant hotel takeover at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.intercontinentalboston.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Intercontinental Hotel-Boston<\/a> for a large Oncology company.\u00a0 We had a<a href=\"http:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/dance-bands\/\"> dance band<\/a> in one room, A <a href=\"http:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/djs\/\">DJ<\/a> in another, a <a href=\"http:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/twilight\/\">jazz trio<\/a> in the foyer and other various entertainment roving around the event.\u00a0 I was DJing in the Abigail Adams Ballroom. \u00a0 The entire affair was coordinated by our good friends\/Ace planning gurus over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bestbostonevents.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Best of Boston<\/a>.\u00a0 This event was structured around a central theme concept.\u00a0 It was to be \u201cA Flocking Affair\u201d .\u00a0 They assigned the entertainers all sort of alter-ego names for the night.\u00a0 One of our bands <a href=\"http:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/dance-bands\/unity\/\">Unity<\/a> became \u201cTail Feathers\u201d, and My <a href=\"http:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/djs\/\">DJ<\/a> stage name became \u201cDJ Peck\u201d!\u00a0 Ha Ha.\u00a0 This company had a great sense of humor and really knew who to throw a great party.\u00a0 The dance party got pretty intense for a late night crowd and I think I had over 250 people on the floor.\u00a0 These folks couldn\u2019t get enough Justin Timberlake !<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Had a great time at this one.\u00a0 This holiday party was a giant hotel takeover at the Intercontinental Hotel-Boston for [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":71,"featured_media":5390,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[104,275,105],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-5391","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bandevents","category-corporate-events","category-djevents"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/5391","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/71"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=5391"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/5391\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/5390"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5391"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=5391"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/murrayhilltalent.com\/event\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=5391"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
