White Heat Swing Orchestra performs at the Green & White Ball at The Taj Hotel in Boston. The illustrious Black Tie Gala is put on by the Friends of the Public Garden, a non-profit group whose purpose is to preserve and enhance Boston’s Public Garden, Common, and Commonwealth Avenue Mall.  The Green & White Ball recognizes members and volunteers who have given generously of their time and money to keep these crowded areas of Boston looking good.  White Heat’s sophisticated sound was the perfect compliment to high society at its best.
