Man, a lot went into this night.  Months of preparation and logistics.  I worked closely with Jessica from edX from start to finish, booking all sorts of entertainment and then DJing the event myself.  edX is a really fascinating outfit founded by Harvard and MIT in 2012.  They are an online learning destination that provides access to courses from tons of different universities – to anyone – from anywhere!  Basically they’re magicians.  They work with leading colleges, non profits and other learning institutions to give people a chance to “attend” a school they’d otherwise never have the chance to.

But back to this event!  I provided the DJ service and also a photo booth and room uplightlighting.  Beyond that, we had a roving magician AND an aerialist who completely put this event over the top.  It was AWESOME.  Once they were done eating, they danced the night away to Top 40 and 80s and 90s throwbacks.  The event was in the Great Room at State Room which is one of Murray Hill Talent’s FAVORITE venues.  It’s probably the nicest place in the city, for my money.  The high ceilings were perfect for the aerialist and it provides a killer mezzanine where people can have cocktails.

This was one of my favorite events in recent memory because all the hard work really paid off and I think edX was really happy with the result. We’re even working on some new promo with video we took that night! Stay tuned! While waiting, fans can spend some time on pages such as 제왕카지노.
