Murray Hill arranged for two groups for a conference held in Boston recently and both bands were excellent. They were professional. Showed up on time and setup their own equipment. Sound quality was excellent. They were responsive to volume and song selection requests, and excellent musicians. They really added to the ambiance and success of each of our events. Murray Hill was very easy to work with, provided song clips for a number of varied artists, and the performance fees were priced competitively (beating other vendors in the market). I would highly recommend using this company if you need to hire local talent.

We hired the Mariachi through Murray Hill Talent for our wedding last November and were absolutely happy with this choice. They were professional and friendly, and looked great as a band. The music was exactly what we wanted and they worked with us to get all the little details just right to make a surprise entrance to our party. We only hired them for an hour, but everyone talked about how much they enjoyed this part of the wedding! Would do it again in a heartbeat. WE also had a great experience getting everything set up with Cory, even though we were doing this only 2 weeks ahead of our big day.

In May 2019, my company hosted a networking cocktail reception at Yvonne’s in Boston. The prohibition-themed event yielded 350 attendees who were transformed to a 1920’s era “speakeasy” as soon as they walked through the door. We hired two actors from Murray Hill Talent. The first was stationed right inside the restaurant as a mobster bouncer, who asked each entrant for the secret password. His “tough guy” accent and ability to engage every attendee helped to set the tone. The second actor posed as a flapper and mingled with attendees throughout the restaurant, including posing for pictures. The music from the Gatsby-themed band, which was also sourced from Murray Hill Talent, helped to provide a serene and relaxing setting. Everyone we hired from Murray Hill was extremely professional. They arrived on time and regularly checked in during the event to ensure they were “delivering” on our vision. I would have no hesitation to rehire anyone from Murray Hill Talent. They were all excellent!

For our wedding it was very important that I had a mariachi band to share my Mexican culture with our guests. They livened up our cocktail hour and made a warm welcome for our guests as they arrived. All of our guests loved the band and the process was so easy. We can not recommend them enough!

Excellent !! Nothing short of excellent !! I’ve been meaning to drop Murray Hill Talents a note for a quite some time. We are three months past our holiday event, but to this day people comment on what a successful event it was. Top of the list for things they enjoyed most was the band Unity. The band did a marvelous job of sensing what the crowd wanted, providing it and then giving it all they had to keep people on the floor. It was a great night.
As for working with Murray Hill Talent generally, you made the planning easy and effortless. From the initial interaction with Tom to Cory’s on-site presence (and music ! ) at the event. They showed the utmost in professionalism and certainly delivered in terms of customer satisfaction.
We have not yet started our planning for our next holiday party, but you can be assured that when we do, Murray Hill Talent and Unity will be (again) at the top of the list! Thanks, ever so much !!

I just wanted to say, we couldn’t be happier with the service you provided on Saturday. The living jockey statue was a hit! You were punctual, professional and provided mesmerizing entertainment that really engaged our guests. I must say, you all impressed me from day one. Before hiring you I spoke with a competitor while trying to size up rates out there. Not only was he a lot more, he never even got back to me with an estimate after I asked him for one twice! It is one thing to provide entertainment. And altogether another thing to provide a professional, reliable service with timely communication. You all are head and shoulders over your completion.

Tom Pendergast (solo guitarist) played at our event at City Winery last week. He was a pleasure to work with. His song selection was spot on. It was the perfect complement to our networking event.

What an epic evening you provided for us all – there wasn’t a person, guest or family member, who didn’t rave about your band! We had a corporate party in Boston and I reached out about living statues.  Worked with them on getting prices on various options and selected a Sam Adams and wine statue.  Both were great and big hits with the crowd.  Both interacted for photos with the attendees.  Would use anytime I was in Boston and recommend them highly.

Fabulous!  The Phunk Phenomenon dancers were so kind, enthusiastic and they engaged the kids with both their dancing and their message.  We were lucky to have them!

Everyone’s loving the bands & DJs you guys have been providing at the Lawn On D this year.  We can’t wait to do it again next year.

As usual, the band was exceptional, and had the place jumping, which is the reason we booked them for next year as well.  They are the best, and we look forward to seeing them again.

Closing Time was better than fantastic!!!!!  Ryan and the entire band were extremely professional, and honestly the made the night SOO easy! They arrived on time, they had a position attitude, took their breaks at the right times, and on top of that they are extremely talented! And even though they are younger, they absolutely killed it! It was so great working with all of them, and I truly do hope we get to see more of them in the New Year!!!

Just sending a big THANK YOU!!! For the great job Mariachi México lindo did at our wedding this past Friday, we and our guest enjoy it so much, the mariachis where so great even my husband joint them for a song! An Amazing time that we will never forget! Thank you for all your help and please give the mariachi band our gratitude for a job well done!!

The Mariachi Band was AMAZING!!!!  You should have been here to see the faces and hear the screams from 100 latin women who were so taken by surprise when they came marching in.  It was the greatest surprise ever!  They were all excellent musicians and singers, totally engaging and FUN!  The teachers all had the chance to get up and sing with them.  The teachers were dancing on chairs and tables and seemed to truly enjoy a very authentic experience.  We totally LOVED it and everyone has asked to have them back.

We hired Redline to perform in June 2017 at our annual Neurosurgery department summer/graduation party where we celebrate our chief resident graduating after 7 years of training to become a Neurosurgeon.  Murray Hill Talent, specially Corin Ashley, was easy to work with.  Ken Freeman and the rest of the band members from Redline were completely professional, had the guests up and moving all night and were just great.  Redline is phenomenal and the guests have not stopped talking about how wonderful they are.  This is the first time we have had any kind of music at our party.  We will continue to use Murray Hill Talent for future parties.  In fact, we’ve already signed Redline for our 2018 party!

We hired Flipside for April 29th 2017. They were beyond amazing. Great music and vocalists. They kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night played beyond the time for which they were contracted. Best band I’ve heard in years!!!

The quartet was great! Their sound and fluidity was beautiful, and all four musicians names were very professional, timely, appropriately attired and a delight to work with.  Thank you so much!

THANK YOU for bringing our desire to have floral living statues our Franciscan Children’s event to life! Please extend our thanks to the performers. They were INCREDIBLE. Flipside knew their audience, and actually made scientists and historians dance!! They allowed a special guest on stage, and made him sound like he was part of the band. I thought the band was fabulous.  The singer had great projection and was very pleasant.  As you probably heard, the sax player is a relative.  It was great to hear him and see him in action!!  His solo received great reviews!!  Overall, myself and my guests we very pleased with the repertoire as she followed the lead of the guests.  Thank you again for completing my event!!

These guys are awesome. I hired them for my husband’s 40th birthday party. And it was a huge hit! Our DJ was great with the older crowd and the younger crowd keeping everyone dancing all night. One of the best nights we’ve ever had! Even the manager connecting me with our DJ was so helpful, professional and on it. Stop your search you found the place.

Ken is a rockstar. I included a tip for him when I submitted the invoice a week or two ago! He’s so self sufficient and great with reading the crowd. My client was super impressed…she had the doors shut to the restaurant because she wanted to hear Ken rather than the piano player the hotel had in the restaurant.  I left wanting to learn how to play the guitar!!

Unity was absolutely fantastic! The group played many wonderful Latin pieces that had many more people of all ages dancing than in years past and was very responsive in lowering the volume upon request.
