I wasn’t alive in 1969 when the first human beings landed on the moon, but this event made me feel like I was! When I tell you that Draper pulled out ALL the stops, it’s an understatement. From the perfectly curated menu to the Woodstock lawn replica, to the period decor and music, every detail was considered when planning this event. Mai Miller, Draper’s Event and Exhibit Manager and all around cheerleader of Murray Hill Talent, deserves massive credit for putting together something far beyond memorable. I can’t say I’ve ever been to a themed event where EVERYTHING followed the theme so closely. The music part? Well, I’ll take credit for that! Playing all music from the late 60’s and early 70’s, particularly from 1969, was such a treat. It’s so rare that I get to dig into an older catalog and I watched so many people of all ages singing along! The presentation of the original television broadcast of the moon landing was an incredibly moving experience. Approximately 500 people stood in silence while watching a piece of history that will never be forgotten. I and all my fellow artists at Murray Hill Talent appreciate that we’re invited to provide music at events of this magnitude. Music is at the heart of our business but there’s a bigger picture out there and we’re honored to be a part of it.
