We helped a partner with a great event for the FICP Winter symposium held at Parris Boston (in Faneuil Hall Marketplace). We always love partnering with DPI, one of our favorite crews to work with (although we couldn’t get any of them to sing backup vocals with our band 🙂 ).  The event was a “Farmers Market” theme, so we custom tailored a 4-piece Americana/Bluegrass band specifically for this event. Corin Ashley played an acoustic 6 string guitar and lap steel, while Tom Appleman plucked away on an old upright bass. The uber-talented Davina Yannety played keyboards, dobro and mandolin while the fabulous Marnie Hall played fiddle and channelled her inner Allison Krauss. Everyone sang like birds.  Guests chowed on farm-to table cuisine and cocktails served in mason jars, and they enjoyed hands-on activities such as creating their own centerpieces, hairpieces and learned how to grow and infuse herbs.  ‘Murica!
