Our company represents some of the finest solo pianists and keyboard players in the business. Our pianists can be seen and heard tickling the ivories at many of New England’s hotels and restaurants.

When considering a pianist for your event, some thought should be given to the musical styles you are interested in and how it correlates to the event you are hosting. Listed below are a few basic types of pianists that we represent. We also have pianists that can specialize in various types of International Music (Brazilian, Italian, etc)

If no piano is available onsite at your venue, our players can utilize state of the art professional grade 88-key keyboards with weighted keys and digital sound. Keyboards are also recommended when additional amplification may be needed.

Background Instrumental

This is the most popular type of pianist we book. Most of our players in this genre will perform music from “The Great American Songbook” by artists such as Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers, Hammerstein, and Hart. Other jazz standards, light classical, and instrumental contemporary selections round out this option. This is a great choice for cocktail receptions and dinner events. Pianists can take requests, engage guests in sing-a-longs, set a tone and keep things lively and upbeat.

Classical Pianists

Classical pianists are most often used for wedding ceremonies, special corporate events and concerts that would demand special performance pieces by composers such as Beethoven, Bach, Pachabel, Chopin, Schubert, Brahms, Liszt, etc. Classical pianists are also great as accompanists for opera singers and other vocalists who need such support. Generally speaking, a classically trained pianist would be best when the music is the main focus, even if just for a short portion of the event.

Singing Pianist

A must for a sing-along party or for events requiring a piano player to step “out of the background”. We represent many of the top singing piano players in New England. Drawing from artists such as Elton John, Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, John Legend, Ray Charles, Michael Bublé, etc., this is a fun option that can keep a party hopping! This type of player brings a small PA system and microphone set-up to enhance the quality of his or her performance.
